TEACHERS. DAY Celebration 2010 PDF Print E-mail

On 9th of October 2010  the teachers in Umzimkulu Diocese - especially those who teach in the schools that are on Church property have celebrated the World Teachers' Day in Harding - St Andrews Parish. The Holy Mass was presided by Bishop Stanislaw Dziuba, OSPPE assisted by priests of the Diocese of Umzimkulu. There were present the representatives of the Catholic Schools Office as well Sr. Ulrike Diekmann cps, the clinical psychologist who had the presentation on Catholic Ethos and the ways of  teaching and formation of children that allow children to grow to the fullness of humanity that is revealed in Jesus Christ.

Confirmation at Port Shepstone - Christ the King Parish PDF Print E-mail

confirmation-PS-a68On 3rd of October 2010 the eleven young people from Christ the Kking Parish have received the Gifts of the Holy Spirit through the service of Bishop Stanislaw Dziuba, OSPPE with the assistance of Rev. Fr Ignatius Heer, CMM who helps while Fr Henry Kanjo CMM is in Rome at General Chapter. All present  have welcomed the new confirmed with joy and love as the full members of this Catholic Community. We express our gratitude to all who helped these young people to grow in faith and to prepare them to face many challenges of today's world.

Rally of Children of Holy Childhood Association PDF Print E-mail

On 2nd of October 2010 hundreds of children of Holy Childhood Association from 10 parishes of Umzimkulu Diocese had the 4th rally at Dumisa Mission where Fr Zakhele Gumbi - the diocesan director of PMS is a Parish Priest. The Holy Mass was presided by Bp. Stanislaw Dziuba, OSPPE with the assistance of priests of Northern Deanery. Children were encouraged to go to school of Jesus to become his friends and to help other children to become also friends of Jesus. After Holy Mass the children performed the traditional dances and plays about the life of Jesus.
