Confirmation at St Emmanuel Parish PDF Print E-mail

On 27th of June 2010 Bishop Stanislaw Dziuba confirmed the group of 140 young and adults at St Emmauel Parish where Fr. Francis Sizukulwane Mbhele is the Parish Priest. The parishioners from all outstations has joined in the prayer for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to enable the confirmed in witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in today's world.

During the Holy Mass our Seminarian Siyabonga Magcaba has been also installed as a lector progressing in his journey of preparation to the priesthood.  He was supported by another our Seminarian Muzikayise Xaba who is in the first year of studies in St John Vianney Seminary in Pretoria.

On 21-25 of June 2010 there was a workshop for Youth from all parishes of Umzimkulu diocese facilitated by the Sr Victoria Sibisi - SACBC Education for Life office and by Nondumiso from Mariannhill Diocese. The workshop was held at Assisi Convent.Ed-for_Life-w-shop-assisi

Sacred Heart Sodality Pilgrimage PDF Print E-mail

Thousands of Pilgrims from around the country as well Swaziland have gathered at Centocow Mission in Umzimkulu Diocese in KZN at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Sodality on 11th of June 2010. In the unity with the priests gathered at St Peter Basilic in Rome at the closing celebration of the Year for Priests the pilgrims prayed for all the priests, especially remembering the priests whom they met in their lives. The Theme of the Pilgrimage was: "Do unto others as I done to you" (Jn 13:15) recalling the words of Jesus to his Apostles after washing their feet at the Last Supper.
