The members of Interdiocesan Committee of Sacred Heart Sodality have met over the weekend with members of Johannesburg Metro Committee in an endeavour to find solutions of the existing problems experienced by them  and a way forward.

Beatification of Benedict Daswa - Tshitanini - Tzaneen Diocese PDF Print E-mail
The First Beatified Martyr of South Africa - Benedict Daswa - on 13th of September 2015 in Tshitanini, parish of Thohoyandou
in Tzaneen Diocese. 
The beatification celebration was presided by Representative of his Holiness Pope Francis - his Eminence Angelo Cardinal Amato SDB, the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of the Saints.


The were present delebrations from the South African Goverment and Province of Limpopo led by Deputy President - Cyril Ramaphosa as well Traditional Leaders from the area.
Cardinal Wifrid Napier of Durban, Archbishops and Bishops, Clergy and Religious of Southern Africa together with estimated 30 000 of the faithful, the mother and his children and family of Benedict Daswa have rejoiced in the celebration of the proclamation that one of ours was proclaimed as the martyr for the faith in Jesus Christ.

Blessed Tshimangadzo Samuel Benedict Daswa, Martyr was born on 16 June 1946 at Mbahe village near Thohoyandou, South Africa. Baptized in 1963 by Fr Augustine O'Brien MSC, he qualified as a teacher and later became a school principal. As a married man with eight children, he was involved in both Church and community activities. They are: Sr. Zithobile Zondi from Centocow Mission - Nsimbini, Sr. Phumzile Mhlongo - Christ the King Parish - NyandeZulu and Sr. Buyisiwe Mlambo from Mahobe Mission - Hilghlands. Sacred Heart Diocesan Committee of Umzimkulu Diocese PDF Print E-mail

The Diocesan Committee of Sacred Heart Sodality of Umzimkulu Diocese has met on 23rd of Aug 2015 with Bishop Stanislaw Dziuba, OSPPE to search together for new ways of reviving of the members of the Sodality, that they become MISSIONARY DISCIPLES ready to bring Jesus to their Communities and Good News of God's Love and Care for all people. As well to motivate the Youth of Sacred Heart Sodality (of whom Nhlakah Sebah Zondi is coordinator) to become the witnesses and messengers of Sacred Heart of Jesus to the youth that is so often lost and in need of help.
